Truth!

I wore out this LP. Still have it. Might need to spin it again for old time's sake.

I would like my state, every state, to mandate badges, name plates, no masks, for all law enforcement in the state. And if federal agents try to break the mandate, arrest them, then let the courts sort it out.

Good for Deb

So much winning!

100 workers, they were employed and on the job. Trump is arresting hard working immigrants. Americans do not aspire to work at meat packing plants. No one wants their child to grow up and work at JBS. Stop eating hot dogs if you want to end immigration.

Found some nice #mushrooms yesterday.

Look what my friend at work gave me as a retirement gift! @ranchogordo.bsky.social

Unreal: "Total farm receipts in Nebraska are projected to increase by $731 million, to $33.37 billion" "$1.58 billion increase in direct government payments, which would account for 17% of the increase in the state’s net farm income." UNL Ctr for Agricultural Profitability Voters bought & paid for

If the IRS deprives Harvard of its tax-exempt status, that's very bad for Harvard but it's also a catastrophe for the IRS. Instead of a neutral agency that enforces tax law, it will become a tool of partisan warfare. It may never recover.

Bayer brought this on themselves. I recently saw a TV commercial for Roundup use in suburbia. No one wore gloves or any of the other PPE required BY LAW. (PPE: gloves, pants, closed-toe shoes). Glyphosate is produced by other companies. Farmers will be okay.

Yet another reason to stop eating corporate meat. Support your local farmers markets.

"Emissions from cycling can be more than 30x lower for each trip than driving a fossil fuel car, and about 10x lower than driving an electric one."

I love this!

The Trump tax plan only works by cutting public services. This incredible visualization combines the potential tax cuts (which mostly go to the rich) and loss of services (mostly borne by the poor). It is a giant wealth transfer from the poorest to the richest. budgetlab.yale.edu/news/250319/...

Trump is paying off corporate ag again: www.usda.gov/about-usda/n... Where is DOGE when you need it?

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

Howard County, IA, hosts 147 wind turbines, generating nearly $3M/year. In "Direct Impact of Wind Energy Development in Howard County," we take a look at the financial benefits to public services, insights from local officials and leaders, and farmers’ experiences.

We have a turbine on the family farm and it "generates" a reliable income. (Sorry, couldn't resist)

No! We subsidize roads; we should give passenger trains equal support. Bolster the budget by taxing the top 10%

This is what I've been thinking.

I'm in!

There's never been a better time to eat plants exclusively and leave the cruelty behind.

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.
