ahaha, well, having the COVID book narrated was a good idea, except for the part I get to listen to thirty voice actors read aloud the most poignant stories I selected for the test script over and over again, boy I didn't think that one through

If you thought ERs were bad during the height of COVID, this fall is gonna be even worse. That's why I've been trying to get this COVID book out, before we annihilate our emergency services providers nationwide.

I've got the COVID book in editing, and my sci-fi one being (rightfully) eviscerated by one editor and treated with kid gloves (but to a four-digit tune) by another, so in the meantime I decided to start kicking this around.

Neat! This is great news and will in no way have any negative repercussions whatsoever! What an amazing country we are!

Ahem. This is the second case in Charlottesville you KNOW about. That is all.

Uh oh, buckle up, Bluesky, Reddit's down

Oh, no, there was boom from sky Sophie no like boom from sky

Alright. I'm finally going to get this done, especially now that the semester is over. I've got 200+ pages of raw and unedited stories and interviews from providers who survived the COVID-19 pandemic, and I'd like to release polished e-book, print, and audiobook versions of them. gofund.me/5bf963fc

I'm writing a book scene where two people are being really bitchy at one another and I have someone I want to ask for their opinion on how it's written... but, ahh... not sure about the implications of saying “You strike me as an authority on this”

I think it's a huge failure of the DOD that people like McGuire make it through BUDS when I, a guy who just barely passed the 2nd class swim evals at Great Lakes, am unequivocally tougher than he is.

America right now:

For whatever reason, first week of March, I started in again with writing a novel I'd been toying with for a few years. That one's in pre-publishing, 350 pages. I'm doing audiobook auditions right now. Novel #2 is going through line editing. And I just started on #3 yesterday.

Happy to be the inspiration for the character in Andor.
