I've never played the original FF Tactics so I'm excited to play it. That said, I'll be bummed out if you have to use the smoothed-out graphics mode in order to get the new QoL features and voice acting. I wish those weren't coupled together.

I partially agree with this but I also think a lot of folks severely underestimate the extent to which this is deliberately self-inflicted by Studio Ghibli, the corporate subsidiary which exists to produce capital via their original IP and signature aesthetic
