While this *is* from a discord convo, it's edited and ripped of its context so I feel okay repeating it publically. I'm the speaker in this and I said it pretty well. By the way, just wanna make it really clear that I'm not a fan of pixel peeping and the idea that a photo has to be perfectly sharp to be acceptable. I believe thinking that way just serves to create a toxic environment of perfectionism where the image quality of the photo is put over its story.

Realizing in hindsight that school level calculus was so disappointingly easy. Like, integrating a polynomial or a sine function really isn't difficult at all. Now, since then university has made integration and analysis in general an actually interesting subject, but why do we wait that long?
