Did a good exercise in class today. Students explored death certificates from early-20th century Spokane, then went to online newspapers for the larger stories. It had a real impact and demonstrated how digital resources leverages another. #PublicHistory docs.google.com/document/d/1...

#History and #teaching friends, I used to have a handy guide to cursive letters that I'd share with students, a simple one-page handout showing all the ways that folks a hundred years ago might have written each letter. Anyone have something like that? #academicchatter
