In his defense, Hegseth was probably too deep in the bottle to know or care.

The blatant injection of force where none was needed is the GOP's stepping-stone to violent suppression. The malign intent in bringing in the Guard is to create a Kent State - and use that to impose harsh rule. It is the Republicans' desired precursor to a summer of blood. They lust for this.

The Russo-Ukraine War teaches us that nation-supporters must give everything from their military stocks on the first day forward. Nothing held back. Every weapon. Within three years they'll find their entire military is obsolete and unfit for the emerging fight. They must rebuild from scratch.

Asset-backed Commercial Paper is up 12.2% so far this year. It is near the levels that meant death to retailers in the last GOP crash. Now the ABCP/CP ratio is over 27%. Biden kept it at a healthy 21% through the Covid crunch. Get debt free. Finance is not your friend.

For the poor there will be no early diagnosis of easily cured problems. There's no profit in that. It's YOUR country, YOUR resources, YOUR labor, YOUR taxes. The oligarchs take, and take, and take. Now they're going after those who have so little they must choose between food and transport.

Claiming they're going after "waste, fraud and abuse," Republicans are working to strip the poorest of the poor of any hope of healthcare. Medicaid. There's nothing quite so Republican as cutting your indigent sister's doctor.

China's ships carrying pain meds turned back. Get ready to bear the pain. Grin like a Speaker taking away your food. Happy, smiling Speaker. Amid words of godly praise it's his state funneling captive migrants into lifelong slavery. Deepest evil comes with a smile, soft words and a flesh market.

Here's a suggestion: remove all public healthcare from all registered Republicans. Particularly politicians. They're so damned determined to eliminate it, they should try it themselves first. After 12 years of fake concern, the GOP might finally vomit up a healthcare plan.

The only thing that will save the silent GOP is revocation of unlimited election money forced on us by the Roberts court. If Republicans had a shred of survival instinct, they'd move for that today. It will not happen. The spatchcock party's spine was removed long ago by the Kochs.
