Alberta wildfire smoke has hit SW Ontario. Windows closed, AC on.

Spa day.

If you're energy is zapped and you're not at all yourself, get your Vitamin D levels checked. My levels were at rock bottom and I felt horrible. 6 weeks of mega-doses and..

Ladies. It's takes several months to get a screening Mammogram even with screening centers running at full throttle. There are hundreds on waiting lists for earlier appointments so, if you can't keep your appointment, CANCEL IT! 40's women, I'm talking to you, stop 'no-showing'!

A year ago, I couldn't walk for months because of a devastating knee injury. I'm so incredibly thankful that I can be back on the trails again. Next, waiting for a clear night to see if I can handle setting up my telescope rig and polar aligning.🤞

Women 40 and over can now self refer for a screening Mammogram at an accredited OBSP site. All women over 30 presenting with a breast lump require a mammogram and ultrasound with a referral from their doctor, and women under 30 should be given an ultrasound first. www.ctvnews.ca/health/artic...

Last night's rain had a little extra something in it. It's too early for pollen here in SW Ontario so is this an American import?

Has anyone else in Southern Ontario seen an early return of Robins? I now have about 15 of them snacking on the berries on one of the bushes in front of my house I'm calling it, early spring!

If you're local, Perimeter Institute often has great public events and lectures. In February, Perimeter Institute, Embassy of Italy, and Galileo Museum present Galileo and His Ingenious Discoveries. It's open to the public on select dates and tickets are free! perimeterinstitute.ca/public-event...

Heard the inauguration plans have changed again and are moving to somewhere in the White House. I hope that felon lives in this kind of fear for his entire term in office.

How did I not know we can access the raw data from space telescopes and process them ourselves?

Best suggestion I've heard yet!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Two new studies propose that the dimming and brightness of Betelgeuse could be explained by a previously undiscovered companion star, that it's actually part of a binary system. That could change the supernova expectations. The companion star is named 'Betelbuddy'. www.astronomy.com/science/bete...

Canadians aren't afraid of the cold but our Japanese cars are. My windows are also frozen shut.

My recipe for reusable stove top simmering Christmas potpourri: -pot half full water -½ cup frozen cranberries -1 tbsp whole cloves -2 cinnamon sticks -1 sliced orange -heaping tbsp Star Anise -handful of fresh pine +spruce springs -½ tsp nutmeg Slowly simmer whenever you want to scent your home.

Canadian MP Charlie Angus: The message I’m hearing from people across Canada is this: they’re not afraid of you. They know you’re a convicted felon. They know that the people you’re bringing in to run your, let’s call it an “organization” rather than a government, are grifters, thieves, and thugs.

Happy Winter Solstice! Looking forward to more sunshine!

Canadian MP Charlie Angus just sounded off on Trump. "So yes, they are our neighbors, but we've stood up to them. We're in a different situation with Trump, a convicted predator, who's seriously undermining the democratic process in the US. And he thinks he can just push us around. He insults us."
