I really enjoyed THE RAMBO REPORT, but that's no surprise -- I am a big fan of Nat Segaloff's books and David Morrell is an old friend of mine. This is a terrific "behind-the-scenes" look at the entire RAMBO phenomenon that's written inappropriately breezy, conversational style.

Me with Eric Conger, the voice of the Sharpe & Walker novels at the premiere of his new play THE PARK, which he wrote

My friend James Kahn's new memoir is out... published by my friend Ben Ohmart at Bear Manor Media . If you are a STAR WARS fan, or are interested in novelizations and TV writing, this is the book for you!

I'm so sad my friend Parnell Hall didn't live to see this adaptation of his PUZZLE LADY books. northernirelandscreen.co.uk/news/channel...

Thank you, Dean!

BLOG POST: The latest news on my upcoming books and TV shows. leegoldberg.com/eve-ronin-re...

Today I expose the inept @fawcettpubofficial.bsky.social scam... but in a post. I'm too busy to do a video take-down this time. www.facebook.com/lee.goldberg...

Thank you, #BobGreenberger, for the kind words and 5-star review of #MenofAction @cuttingedgebooks.bsky.social @leegoldberg.bsky.social on Amazon www.amazon.com/gp/customer-...

Somebody should make a montage of all the times a bad guy shot at Barnaby Jones (often point blank!) & missed...and then Barnaby shot him in the shoulder or arm. I bet it's about a hundred times out of 178 eps.

Congratulations to Max Allan Collins on this great news! variety.com/2025/film/ne...

GUNSMOKE is one of the best TV series ever...and writer/creator John Meston, who nobody remembers, should be as revered as Rod Serling, Aaron Sorkin, Steve Bochco, etc. www.latimes.com/entertainmen...

Congratulations to my friend @simongervaisbooks.bsky.social on the great Kirkus Reviews write-up for THE ELIAS ENIGMA. "Gervais deftly shuffles his large cast of characters like pieces on a chessboard. An adrenaline-fueled spy romp." www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews...

No, it wasn't my friend LeeGoldberg at WABC who had to have his right arm rebuilt in 2004 with titanium...as this article claims... it was me. www.distractify.com/p/what-happe...

Review and giveaway of "Hidden Smoke" by Lee Goldberg kingsriverlife.com/05/31/hidden... @leegoldberg.bsky.social #mysterybooks #books #giveaway 💙📚

Many thanks to Kings River Life Magazine for the "dual reviews" of HIDDEN IN SMOKE. "This third in the Walker & Sharpe series is an exhilarating blend of an Ocean’s Twelve caper and the movie Backdraft, with the plots coinciding into a satisfying end." kingsriverlife.com/05/31/hidden...

I know why people aren't going to movie theaters anymore: because it's an expensive, lousy experience. Ticket prices are too high & too many people are talking, texting, taking phone calls & surfing the web during the movie.

How many 1000s of times have we seen characters crash through windows & other sheets of glass in movies & not get a single scratch? When will that ridiculous, absolutely unbelievable trope finally DIE?

I was delighted to see this article on actor Rolf Saxon, who guest-starred on several episodes of SHE WOLF OF LONDON (aka LOVE & CURSES) that William Rabkin and I wrote & produced back in the early 1990s. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/25/m...

This should be leading the news every day, but it’s hardly being reported. These “hidden” measures curtailing the judicial branch will decide whether we slip fully into totalitarianism in the next few years.

Thank you, @jonburlingame.bsky.social, for the kind words about #MenofAction @cuttingedgebooks.bsky.social @leegoldberg.bsky.social

I'm back again in the hotseat with Toni Ann Marcolini on her "It May Interest You to Know" podcast. It's always a lot of fun talking with her when I have a new book out! www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhLM...

After a demanding semester, I’m cuddled up with a cat and @leegoldberg.bsky.social’s amazing Monk books. I’m blown away by how perfectly he captures character voices from the TV show. #Monk is one of my comfort shows. So pleased to start this series, finally, even decades after its release. Thanks!

Many thanks to my friend Mark Evanier for boosting one of my videos where I talk to a scammer who preys on the hopes and dreams of writers. www.newsfromme.com/2025/05/21/t...

For day 140 of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I am paying tribute to George Wendt. He stars in Hostage for a Day (1994) as a man staging his own kidnapping to get back the money his wife sank into a home remodel. John Candy's sole directing credit

I've been scarce here because I've been busy working as a writer/producer on a new mystery TV series created by my friend Robin Bernheim (w/whom I co-created the Hallmark series) MYSTERY 101). The writing/producing staff also includes my buddy Phoef Sutton & my new friend Derek Thompson. .

I don't understand the Hollywood media's obsession w/how long the applause lasts for a premiere at Cannes. Do they really think an ovation lasting 2 min 27 seconds vs 3 min 14 sec vs 5 min 10 seconds is any real predictive measure of a film's boxoffice propects?

Many thanks to Deadly Pleasures Magazine for the great review of HIDDEN IN SMOKE. "Lee Goldberg’s novels just zip along at a fast and pleasing pace. I’m always greatly entertained by his talent as a fine storyteller. I’m hooked on this series and the Eve Ronin one as well."

Many thanks to Best Thriller Books for the great review for FALLEN STAR, coming this fall. "Lee Goldberg delivers once again, crafting an unputdownable police procedural containing wonderfully constructed characters within a pulse-racing plot." www.bestthrillerbooks.com/steve-netter...

Out now... HIDDEN IN SMOKE! “An original, riveting read from cover to cover…” ―Midwest Book Review

The Gallery of Curiosities in my new novel HIDDEN IN SMOKE was inspired by my visit to the MONA in Hobart, Tasmania... in the comments you will see a **not safe for work** video of one of their displays... www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-Rf...

For a limited group of cancer patients who have solid tumors in the stomach, rectum, esophagus and other organs, an immunotherapy trial offered stunning results.

I really enjoyed THE ACCOUNTANT... but THE ACCOUNTANT 2, which I was really looking forward to, absolutely sucked.

Yet another well-deserved STARRED review from Kirkus for Rachel Howzell Hall, this time for FOG AND FURY. "This captivating blend of angst, mystery, and page-turning suspense delivers a top-notch reading experience." www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews...

Congratulations to Steve Konkoly on the great Kirkus Review for A HIRED KILL. "Readers will be rewarded w/ punchy prose, rhythmic scenes of hand-to-hand combat, high-tech wizardry, sophisticated weaponry & so many surprise reveals." www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews...

This slipped by under-the-radar... On March 13, 2025, author Brendan DuBois pleaded guilty to four counts of possession of child sex abuse images; he was sentenced to 3.5 to 7 years in prison. It's still so hard to believe.... www.seacoastonline.com/story/news/l...
