UK; Scrap HS2 and invest the money into reopening our long-dead stations. They may have been underused in the 1960s, but in 2025, they're sorely needed. My village had its station closed by Beeching, and since then, there have been 3 housing estates built. We're crying out for one.

When the UK was in the EU, many people had never even heard of the ECHR. With a little help from Farage though it was bought to our attention but cleverly dressed up to appear to be a part of the EU to which we must obey. Many people still believe the ECHR is an EU construct even though it isn’t.

I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."
