A quick post talking about #apache #iceberg within our MeshScope application. It receives and processes a lot of data from @meshtastic.org and provides a useful way to think about how to process these unbounded streams.. www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/interne...

Check out our new post on #Meshtastic acting as a source for our bot agent requests, part of a two part series. First talking about request handling and next event-based agentic processing.. www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/internet-of-things-iot-and-ai-requests

A quick post about our Android MeshScope app for viewing the #meshtastic network. Give it a spin at www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/meshsco... and we always love feedback and ideas. Thanks!

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

Check out our support for #ai Model Context Protocol #MCP services on the Mesh Scope application. With this, you can bring real-time #meshtastic IoT data into your chat client just like using the Mesh Scope site! www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/bringin... Let us know what you think!

I've just contributed to Meshtastic. Consider supporting them too — every little helps! opencollective.com/meshtastic

Have you ever wanted to talk to @meshtastic.org data? Probably not, but it's pretty interesting and fun! Check out our post on #ai integrated #iot data for natural queries about the global Meshtastic network. Let us know what you think! www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/chattin...

Our latest post on our @meshtastic.org #iot data processing #mqtt pipeline is up, talking about storing different types of data, and how we can act upon it. Let us know what you think and what else you would like us to cover! Check it out at: www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/meshtas...

Next in our series on @meshtastic.org data processing for mesh-based #mqtt data is a discussion on inbound data enrichment. Using techniques like Geohash to optimize adding context and information to #mesh data.. Check it out at www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/meshtas...

Continuing our series on @meshtastic.org data processing for #iot data received via #mqtt brokers! This post looks at data filtering as part of our data ingest process to improve data quality. #meshtastic is highly recommended for testing out! Give it a read at www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/meshtas...

Interesting stats on poorly configured #meshtastic nodes when looking at MQTT traffic. Two nodes are producing orders of magnitude more traffic than most others.. over 700K between them and the next block down is 13K. Crazy message rates..

Also congrats to Apache #Iceberg and #Parquet projects with their recent support of #geospatial data. This is an amazing new feature and will help lay the foundation for new innovation! cloudnativegeo.org/blog/2025/02...

Continuing our #meshtastic series we discuss the first step of our #IoT data processing pipeline, with the transformation of meshtastic data into our application. Data decoding from protobuf, decryption, and normalization all discussed. Next up, filtering! www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/meshtas...

Our new blog post about #meshtastic and the processing of data from the MQTT services is up! Part of a series looking at Meshtastic and the #IoT opportunities it provides. This series will continue with expanded integration insights. www.lemuridaelabs.com/post/real-tm...

This Salt Typhoon stuff is insane. The entire FISA surveillance infrastructure has been completely owned by China and literally no part of our telecom infrastructure is safe to use without end-to-end encryption.

Tracking an increase in turkey emoji activity.. I wonder why? 🦃

I really appreciated this piece by @jamellebouie.net today - recommended if the US political scene has you feeling hopeless right now www.tiktok.com/@jamelleboui...

So is there any reasonable support for #wasm execution in #java? Barring that, lightweight WASM api services that could be dynamically updated.. thinking of modular event processors and like the concepts of wasm..

Very close to 300 @meshtastic.bsky.social nodes found so far! The hunt goes on..

Big fan of @chainguard.bsky.social images and highly recommend them, but if you are using them be aware of the change in image availability. The free access is "latest" and other "LTS" variants are commercial now. Totally fair to do, but you might see CI/CD breakage.. Still though, thanks!
