I had an epiphany. Maybe its not a lack of empathy that makes you a conservative. Maybe its just a dysregulation where they are get bored easily and then seek out drama and crisis to stimulate themselves to feel safe.

I had a dream: an analogue to the EU comprised of Canada, the border states of the US (that wish to join) connecting to Mexico and all the way down the whole continent. We would be independent nations under a new compact. Outlawing corporate ownership, universal coverage etc.

When someone shifts the conversation to something unrelated or attacks your character, stop defending yourself. They’re changing the narrative. Instead, respond with a thoughtful question to bring the focus back.
