1/ Been lolling at Phil Collins Autobiography. Some highlights. Here he is on George Harrison

The jawdropping stunts of Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, enhanced by AI!

How I imagine coming home after a holiday only to find junkies have moved in, shat everywhere and won't let me past the front gate.

Just noticed my Songs In The Key Of Life has Sides 1 and 2 on different records 🤔

Sunny Sunday and a visit to a nice exhibition of works by British illustrator Peter Till, Hornsey Library

Book recommendation. Both similar, in a way.

I'm working away in my uncle's office where he has two of John Berry's original Ladybird illustrations above the desk i'm sat at. They look to be done in gouache? (which i imagine @lbflyawayhome.bsky.social would know)

Mordor. Tough place to go

Fair.

'New York from The Shelton.' (1926) Like Christopher Nevinson before him Garnet Wolseley believed New York, specifically Manhattan epitomised the enthusiasm for a modern world defined by speed and mechanisation. Georgia O'Keeffe lived at The Shelton from 1925 to 1929.

Radio 3 vs Classic FM.

Chiswick Park Underground station, one of a set of inter-war stations designed by Charles Holden. The idea with the towers was that people could see from a distance where the station was. Probably all a bit to built up for that now @transportforlondon.bsky.social @paintingsoflondon.bsky.social

Works in the UK too. Reduces from £56.98 to £30.34 a month

'Snowy Landscape,' (1904) by Cuno Amiet is four metres square and astonishing for the huge area given to a range of subtle, delicate whites, which set off the dark spot of a tiny lone skier. Amiet, a pupil of Fernand Hodler, is undeservedly little known outside his native Switzerland

Ladybird Artists Advent Calendar, window 9 Artist: Ronald Lampitt

Some illustration I did recently with Native Strangers for @matchroom.bsky.social

Fire Escape (By Hyde Park to be precise) . . . liamdevereux.co.uk/shop/fire-es...

'Early Evening, The Ritz Hotel, London' (2024) by Michael John Ashcroft michaeljohnashcroft.com

Slightly odd time I was in Coach C and #MoSalah wandered through looking for his seat just after Liverpool had beaten City in 2018

Flashback to something I'd made a long time ago as a Google Doodle #Beatles64

Dublin 1982 Sarah Evans

Sounds of the Universe. Very fine soho record store on a wet and autumnal night

Wrapped up his time with #TheBeatles 30yrs earlier, but still just 58yrs old when he was taken away. 23yrs of anecdotes, smiles and Beatle grumpiness missed since then :( #GeorgeHarrison
