I’ve quietly been working on 13 Quilts. All designed by original generative code I began using 13 years ago in collab with @praystation. I’ve always loved that the computer is like, “Surprise! Here’s some crazy shit I came up with. Now figure out how to make it real.” Exhibit in France this Fall.

Japan is even dreamier than I could have imagined.

I finished the top of Quilt 13 for my Generative Threads project. Only twelve more to go. Used the original #Processing code from 2012 to render the series. #genart #generativetextiles

Working on a project that I need to get out of my brain.

Happiness is a rainbow 🌈 especially one of new #quilting #fabric 😻 Some @libselliott.com Phosphor colours for my stash.

The top for Number 13 of 13 generative quilts, designed with #Processing code from 2012, is almost complete! 😅 Downside… I’m working backwards so I still have 12 quilts to go. 😂 #generativequilts #genart #generativetextiles #generativecraft (Do we even use hashtags in Bsky?)

The other night, my American nephews wanted to watch the Adam Sandler movie ‘50 First Dates’ but I thought they said ‘51st State’ and it shook me to my core.

Are people setting up Flashes? And, if so, are you really setting up a dedicated account? I’m trying to decide how to proceed…because social media is exhausting and I need efficiency.

Some of my favourite artists! ♥️

It was a stay-inside kind of weekend. ❄️

Oof, what a week. But here is a block for @libselliott.com’s Sew Squad Block of the Month. It’s bright and cheerful and makes me smile when I look at it. #quiltsky

Started on a #BotM #quiltblock yesterday. I haven’t chosen my fabric yet for the full @libselliott.com quilt, but I thought I’d do a #scrappy version with fat quarters I already have. I’m a pretty novice #quilter so I want to practice the techniques. Still have to #sew this together!

I started sewing a repurposed garment yesterday out of these Warhol x Levi’s that never fit me right. But today I’ve decided to leave the project until after QuiltCon. I just want to spend time with my family and not feel the pressure to show up in AZ with ‘all the things’.

6am on a saturday and i’m watching quilting tutorials to soothe my brain (hands by @libselliott.com)

My Electric Pineapple quilt top is done!! My first king size quilt top. I started this just over a year ago, at our last house. This quilt has been a friend during some stressful times and will be a comfort and bring joy for years to come. Pattern by @libselliott.com #quiltsky

Yesterday, I did my first workout in forever. It’s shocking how out of shape I am, how much my body has changed in the last few years and how a lack of movement has affected my mental health. Starting is the hardest part.

I’m really hoping I have enough backing left to make the binding. This is one of the first larger quilts I completed with minimal help! Longarmed by a local friend. Fabric and design by @libselliott.com. My lap sized electric pineapple quilt. I think another one is in my near future 🤣

I think I cried at least once every day this week. But I also laughed so, yeah. Keep going. 🖤

Hung some quilts up in my studio.

My Stash Guard.

So glad I’m a @saqaart.bsky.social member and congrats to Laura on the acquisition. 👏

A little bat economy block made with some prints from my Phantasm collection which ships this summer. I can’t stop making these…

I just saw Trump’s latest executive order targeting trans kids and shutting down their health care. I’m asking all of us to stand up with one voice for the trans community.

This weekend I sewed up a giant block sample for my Mega Pineapple workshop at QuiltCon and I maybe 🤞fixed my dishwasher. Fabrics here are from my Glaze II and Iconic collections.
