Just dropped my kid off at the Marshall campus to take his 1st AP exam (Modern World History). Seeing all those kids enter the building, full of nerves...god, was it sweet. I cried a little (duh) and have been thinking of my own tests in 1991. I failed US History, got a 4 on both German and Eng Lang

Attn: Oregonians getting their elderly family members on Medicaid Long Term Care. I strongly recommend you enroll them in a PACE, e.g. Providence ElderPlace. Apart from coordinating health care needs, participants don't pay a monthly service liability to the state. They keep most of their money! 1/x

I passed through the Peace Arch Crossing into BC over the weekend, and as always, the inscription "Children of a common mother" made me tear up. I'm not a patriotic person, but the US-Canada friendship has always mattered to me. I'm so angry and heartbroken at what the current regime is doing.
