i really do not get starstruck but my one exception is spike lee, the most accessible celebrity in brooklyn. i've only met him once, at fenway park. a broadcaster learned i was starstruck and just pushed me over to spike for an introduction. all i said to him was: "i live in brooklyn."

excited for my first day as a maybe i'm a knicks fan

[nathan for you voice] the plan:

this city has everything

one of the best things about covering baseball on the road for a few years is that now when i meet new people they're like "how the hell do you know so much about west palm beach?" or "how the hell do you know so much about canadian currency?"

(sent with invisible ink) what percentage of eligible voters who are canvassing or generally promoting zohran's campaign missed the party affiliation deadline or are not currently registered to vote in new york city

the sulzberger family has owned the new york times since the 19th century.

my Positive Post for this morning is that my eyebrow lady gave me the caitlin clark and now my confidence is up 20 points in the self esteem polls

my other hot take is that progressive young people in nyc would be better served using their energy to directly ask their friends the last time they voted in a local election and if they intend to vote in the primary. should be a first date question, imo.

my hottest take is that even for all its flaws and biases and blind spots, a lot of people are weird about the new york times. if you wake up and actually read the morning coverage it looks quite different than dissecting one story on social media.

The IDF shot a 14-year-old Palestinian-American boy 11 times because he was, according to Israel, throwing stones at occupational militants. (His friends say they were throwing almonds at each other, not rocks at soldiers.) The IDF called him a terrorist. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/27/w...

if nathan fielder really wanted to simulate the life of a pilot he would have gotten a divorce midseason

the season finale of the rehearsal once again proves that smokers allowed is a higher impact stunt than dumb starbucks

lmao

D U M B EVERYONE'S ACCUSING ME

the brooklyn nets are not real. everyone who lives here knows that. barclays center is a concert venue and the home of the 2024 wnba champion new york liberty.

average lindsey decision making outcome

i'm so distressed. after klay left the warriors i really lost my affinity for them (i really only liked steph-klay-dray, not the franchise), and i spent a lot of time thinking about My New Team (okc? spurs? nola?). and then, with one goddamn 20 point comeback, i think i would up as a knicks fan.

yeah i was physically addicted to twitter clout for like a full decade. another life is possible.

sorry to be a prescriptive scold but you can just leave twitter and read the news another life is possible

the united states of america had made this possible and it's a moral atrocity that we will deserve to carry on our consciences forever

nathan fielder seems like he's working through some shit. good luck to him and shout out to whoever does insurance liability work for the rehearsal.

ok i'm starting the rehearsal now see you all on the other side 🫡
