Soup was 🔥. I roasted the butternut squash with leeks, onions, garlic, and ginger first. Put it in the blender in 2 batches with 2 cups of chicken stock. Put all of that in a pot with some coconut milk and a bay leaf and brought it up to simmer. Served it with some toasted crusty bread! BANGING 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Ok I’m thinking… I’m making a coconut butternut squash soup, and I know a lot of ppl like to add curry, but I can’t stand curry (sorry 🤷🏾‍♀️) I thought I would add a lil berbere seasoning instead for that lil “jenny se quan” 😂 a lil…umami if you will. Whatchy’all think? #blackskyfoodies
