I have just learned that I share a birthday with JD Vance

Clair Obscur has the perfect level of difficulty (for me). I lose a couple of times on bosses and some tough enemies, enough that it feels rewarding to get “better” after a couple of attempts, but not so many reloads that I get frustrated

I’m poking around online to help my grandma access mental health services. Has anyone else noticed that our healthcare system sucks? Huge news.

My best friend’s cat

Everything you do on the computer has an Akinator Genie button now and the dumbest people you know think it’s alive

I have such a clear vision of a web page with my neopets art in a bunch of colors that are free for personal use (pet pages, personal sites, etc). I could even do versions with the circle background, or line art psd for people to color idk Proof of concept (fire blumaroo)

Canceled for suggesting blumaroos have fur

Big news: I’m out of town cat-sitting six cats for ten days. Pictured: two of them

Idk what I’m going to do with all of these. Something™

Another one

Back on my bullshit

This is old news, but can anyone explain to me why Lithgow doesn’t know the difference between portraying a bigoted dead person in a play versus working for a bigoted alive person in real life?

Acceptable way for millennials to be uncool: jeans, shoes, slang Unacceptable way for millennials to be uncool: Harry Potter HBO show

when I was 10 I thought maybe I wanted to be Matthew Broderick, but at the end of the day I just wanted to wear the Inspector Gadget trench coat

When I was fifteen a therapist told me to read a YA problem novel about "being weird." It probably would have fixed me, but alas, I was too busy reading The Stand. Stephen King proven problematic once again

Started Clair Obscur this morning. Nintendo wants 80 dollars for Mario Kart?? Please

I’m writing a James Patterson parody story because I realized if you take the approx. number of chapters in a “normal” book, but make them Patterson length, you end up with a short story Anyway, 700-ish words is not very many

I feel like a lot of books have this weird quality where they act as if I already know and are on board with the characters and setting. It’s like reading fanfic for franchises I don’t know.

I wrote a silly essay about Revenge of the Sith (The website is kind of ugly on purpose, so if it's not the best reading experience, reader view works well, especially on mobile)

I've been working on an essay about Revenge of the Sith (coming soon!), and wow I really respect writers that have to get pieces out on a super tight time frame to stay relevant to the news. I've been working on this piece of writing since Sunday and it's only like 2500 words

Going on a journey

I'm sure this is nothing new, but if I could make one change to Revenge of the Sith, I'd take out everything about him killing the kids and have his point of no return be him hurting Padme

Revenge of the Sith? Incredible film. George was right about everything
