Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana’ole… Known as “The people’s prince” because he was devoted to doing right by his Hawaiian subjects. He was also a bad ass brawler, surfer and a member of the US Congress from 1903 to 1922. From the age of three, Kūhiō has been the hero I got to share a birthday with!🙏🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
