Good morning ✌️❤️☕ Luna is looking spectacular this a m. And Mars too. The reddish dot above the moon on the left. Last night the full moon passed between Earth and Mars (lunar occulation) while Mars is at the closet point in its orbit to us, called opposition. Very beautiful.

The big snow storm missed us last week. Just barely. We had some lake effect, maybe 1.5 inches. But recent forecasts are calling for 3 inches tomorrow. I'm so dang excited! ❄️ I absolutely love the snow. Plus I really want to take the kids sledding.

There's a red star that hangs just above the northern horizon before dawn. It twinkles and shimmers, sometimes seeming to flashing blue or green. Perfectly framed in my bedroom window, we sip coffee most mornings and I tell her my deepest secrets. I don't even know her name.
