Not a vampire film this week but: Frankenstein & the Monster From Hell. Peter Cushing's last role as the Baron. I noticed he looked quite Grand Moff (apart from the wig) and then realised it was only four years later at the most, that he filmed Star Wars.

On the anniversary of his birth, remembering the phenomenal Peter Cushing (1913-1994). An actor of style, intelligence, and meticulous preparation. Best remembered, today, for his work for Hammer, he was a truly versatile performer and a fine comic foil for both Laurel & Hardy and Morecambe & Wise.

The end of a decent Saturday. plenty of comic hunters from out of town; some locals visited on the back of my social media posts & the shop got compliments. A good way to end the week. This week's 'vampire' film, 1968. Not exactly vampire but it's a rock monster that feeds off the chemicals of people in extreme fear whilst running around in their knickers but anyway Boris Karloff did this with one working lung and it was his last film. 🏆
