I was sitting on the SW app, waiting for that Check In button to go live, so that I could get into a low enough boarding position that I can get a window seat. Now that SW charges for bags, this kind of stress isn't worth it. Next business trip, I want an airline that lets me pre-select my seat.

We're living through unfathomably terrible times for civil rights and human rights. If you've got the chance to vote in a primary this year, I recommend voting for the furthest left person on your ballot. The "centrists" are not ready for these times and will bargain away our rights.

I had a free afternoon, so I went with a coworker on a whale and dolphin spotting tour. No whales, but lots of dolphins! Also, I guess we strayed into Mexican waters, as when I checked my messages, I had one from Verizon that said WELCOME TO MEXICO! They'd better not charge me.
