Semenyo ticks a lot of boxes for us. Mismatch 1v1, creates his own shot, two footed, plays across the front, elite out of possession, mid prime, and he's proven in the league. He can be a little loose technically, but I think the trade-off is worth it.

It's always funny seeing the "Arteta out" freaks use Henry as a lightning rod to push their agenda. Fwiw - I have no issue with Henry sharing his opinion, I mostly enjoy listening to him talk Arsenal, but you dont have to agree with everything he says purely because his name is Thierry Henry.

The thing about Wirtz from an Arsenal perspective is we haven't even been linked, there's been zero suggestion of any effort to sign him. Maybe it wasn't going to be possible, but for a player like that you have to try absolutely everything.

Not surprised at all. Injuries to individuals are one thing, but the silent killer for Arsenal has been the effect of injuries (and cluster injuries) on the collective. Timber has been flogged because we simply haven’t had anybody else to replace him with. A superhuman effort.
