Wait, people see hyphens in text and immediatelly think it's AI? I love to use hyphens - does this mean I have to stop because people believe I'm AI? A hyphen is the best interpunction: it bridges the gap between a comma and a parenthesis. It is also a great linker (see my second sentence).
