People who think that sending innocent people to a gulag without due process is acceptable collateral damage in order to "fix a broken system" should have to volunteer to be that collateral damage. And, long-term, they might end up being just that.

Forgot to share this back around when it was taken. Torchbearer 2nd edition at Genghis Con 2025.

I think The Neptune Power Federation is just my favorite band, now.

I need to get caught up on my reading so I can crack open the Valentine's Day Battletech release: store.catalystgamelabs.com/products/bat...

“The Maryland National Guard must decline events which celebrates individuals based all or in part on immutable characteristics,” the memo said. Douglass was an abolitionist, suffragist, orator and author. That’s what we celebrate him. Let’s be clear: This bars celebrating him because he was Black.

Just overheard a guy, coming up to a group of guys, say "Well look at this group of Trump supporters." Not sure if this is a group of Trump supporters or if his tone was the same as a guy approaching a friend saying, "Well look at this mother fucker here."

This is what should be on every front page right now. What's happening in the US right now is an illegal power grab by a private citizen. IT'S A COUP. It's a digital coup. It's Musk who's leading it. The consequences are terrifying. And it's coming for us next. 1/ open.substack.com/pub/broligar...

Working on some short fiction based on a Battletech campaign I'm playing in. Check out the first part!

@campyvampy.bsky.social picked this up today from Enchanted Grounds on a whim. I've not heard about @wrksgames.bsky.social before but the book is beautiful. Look forward to reading it and maybe running a session or two!

This is what revisionist history looks like, in real time. And this also is why it might appear that archaeologists and historians have to dig deep to discover the existence of powerful women and marginalized groups -- because their legacies are so often erased.

Not as much to look at, but some of us from the Colorado Battletech group at Wizard's Chest in Denver tried out warships and fighter squadron rules on Tuesday, using some prints and some Star Wars minis. A good time and very instructional as to why the 1st Succession War saw so much attrition.

Insight into Musk from a former friend, Dr. Philip Low, CEO and founder of neurovigil. Link is an archived post from linkedin. archive.li/PkWxL

5 ways to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth (cause the fed govt doesn’t run your house) 1. Find out what Sojourner Truth REALLY said 2. Buy a Black horror, scifi or fantasy book 3. Listen to “Naima” by John Coltrane 4. Send the victims of the LA fires in Altadena a few coins 5. Get a library card

NEW: Elon Musk's friends have infiltrated another government agency, and they're trying to use White House credentials to access General Services Administration tech, giving them the potential to remote into laptops, read emails, and more, sources say: www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

Finished my embrace Dark Urge run. This moment was rough (like many in this run), but, well, she voted for it.

3149 CE, Northwind Grey Watch scout elements stray too far from their heavier support and are cut down by a trio of Capellan BattleMechs. (I really need to paint my minis)

I didn't love @eve6.bsky.social's last release but Dream Fist is fantastic. Lots of new ideas while retaining what I loved about the original 3 albums and bringing back the smart lyricism.

This is what I thought, too, hearing Hegseth's comments: www.msn.com/en-us/news/w...

Rush always makes me feel very seen and understood. I see you too, fellas.
