Opposing Andrew Cuomo is a non-negotiable for our membership. In light of today’s news that Jessica Ramos has endorsed Cuomo, our New York City CAP Council immediately voted to unendorse her on our ballots. @uawregion9a.bsky.social region9a.uaw.org/news/NYCMayo...

Never been a more appropriate time for this meme

This is kind of incredible actually

If you live in north carolina or you know someone who does, they are trying not to count 60,000 legal votes. Make sure they're not disenfranchising you here: thegriffinlist.com

Is this anything

Me when I'm about to text the wrong group chat:

Both of my senators, @markwarner.bsky.social and @kaine.senate.gov , have voted to confirm 6 and 8 members of Trump's cabinet respectively. There was no strategic rationale for doing so. Virginia is a mostly safe Dem state. There's no plausible explanation other than they support Trump's agenda.

So help me if NYC elects Andrew cuomo can you please get it together

If you are at a law firm or at some other white collar job and previously thought unions were not for you, this is a good time to organize

FTP's library cohort is at the halfway point and I have heard that the participants are great. If you want to seek appointment or run for your local library board, consider applying for our 2026 cohort. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

If you spend these days convincing yourself what is plainly happening in the US right now isn't happening, can't be happening, or won't get worse, you will not be in position to understand how we got here, how to fight, and how to build after we win. Such people cannot be in charge of the Dem party

Extremely non exhaustive list of things dem pols should be doing but are not: - press conferences at rural schools about impacts of Dept Ed EO - teach ins outside of SS offices slated to be closed - walk along routes with postal workers talking to the ppl they serve 1/

Hell yeah Having sent a few things like this in my time, I can almost guarantee that she will lose her job. But may her actions inspire others who are on the fence about speaking out

Any Paul Weiss clients should immediately look elsewhere

Gotta say it's surreal to hear my non lawyer coworkers discussing the nitty gritty of motions practice on the cases determining if any of us have rights. No one should have to know this much about civ pro lmao

She's enjoying the new cat tree

@fleerultra.bsky.social Here's a start of a spreadsheet with what's needed (mainly filing fee and signature requirements if applicable) to primary pols in each state. Plan to add more details like who to file w/ and which pols are up in '26. Need to format as well docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

Please look toward local and worker owned media sources. They are far more responsive to readers and you can be sure they are not being directed to be mouthpieces by billionaires Ex: @51st.news @mississippifreepress.org If there's not one in your area that could be something to organize around

Good job, fuckwits. @markwarner.bsky.social @kaine.senate.gov are just as much responsible for this as anyone who voted Yes.

Pretty sure now that Warner and Kaine both wanted to vote Yes, but this was carefully orchestrated to allow them to put up fake resistance and not have to face the several hundred thousand federal workers that would have put their heads on a pike.

Every senator up in 2026 except those who are not running for office again ended up voting no. That's no accident. They will pretend they didn't want this result. But they didn't object to unanimous consent. They are just as guilty. Start joining local dems, lay groundwork for primarying them

Important to note that this makes every single dem senator complicit. Any one of them could have objected to unanimous consent and stalled things, at least a little. So even those who voted no should be primaried. They allowed this to happen as much as those who voted yes.

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too? 🚮

I want to know what Schumer thinks a gyroscope is

what the FUCK @schumer.senate.gov

For no particular reason certainly not one named Chuck Schumer and the his punk ass Senate colleagues I am again sharing this academic work showing that accommodation pushes politics to the right www.cambridge.org/core/journal...

If these bozos had any rela organizing experience they would know that you build momentum for the big fights through little victories. If you don't have the courage for the little struggles along the way you surely will not be able to stand up when the moment comes. Dems really illustrating that

Chuck Schumer is a call to action not a name

Think about that 60-some-year-old South Korean senator who was literally climbing over walls to vote for impeachment as martial law was imposed in the country and then looking at…. Chuck Schumer.

Schumer has lost the neoliberalism lmfao Current mood:

r/neoliberal is now supporting an AOC primary challenge and declaring her the best hope for the party Schumer has lost the mandate of heaven

I'd like an apology from the blue no matter who folks who lost their shit when I said several weeks ago that there is no opposition party in the US.

A YES on cloture is a YES for the bill. Do not let anyone play games with you.
