I grew up in the Caribbean, went to college in NY and have a BS, I worked as a deck officer and circumnavigated the world. Raised 2 kids and worked in school libraries. Now I am widowed and retired in Napa Valley. Favorite person is my Miss Kitty.

I wish I could post the scene from The Italian Job. Maybe someone else can. I feel it’s totally appropriate for today. “If there’s one thing I know, you don’t mess with Mother Nature, mothers-in-law, and mother-freaking Ukrainians.”

I'd like to introduce my brother's cats. Cutty is a medium length tortie with sultry yellow eyes. Minxy is actually my niece's cat. She's a Persian from Saudie who lost an eye to a terrible infection. She was recently shaved so the house doesn't get buried in black hair.
