My poor little man has just been for his specialist diagnostic procedure. They've discovered a fistula in his mouth which requires a tooth to be removed. Today + the first round of diagnostics + the tooth extraction is adding up to a massive bill. Please consider joining my kofi or Ben's patreon 💖🔗⬇️

This past semester was the most stressful of my academic career. I had 180 students and about half cheated at some point in the semester They submit weekly reflections where the questions are opinion-based, graded only on effort, don't care about grammar SO MANY students submitted ChatGPT essays

Happy pride 🥳 I'm a trans masc artist and indie author from South Africa with 3 books and an ongoing webcomic out! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🇿🇦

It's pride month, and that means sharing this clip again. It's an annual tradition.

See, I always love it when a film throws a bunch of money at a couple of academics like this. Fuck yeah Professor Adler, go hog wild in the set shop being uptight about the color of the stone walls

This was so cool! I didn't see this post yesterday so it was such a surprise to see this zine at the workshop. I love it.

I thought i posted this on Saturday, but apparently not. Bad art zine. Made it over Friday/Saturday, in preparation for the workshop tomorrow.

19 companies that have pulled support of Pride parades, in whole or in part, this year: Lowe's Dyson Nivea Tiffany & Co. Toyota Capital One UPS Disney DoorDash Live Nation Anheuser-Busch Diageo PepsiCo Nissan PricewaterhouseCoopers Citi Mastercard Booz Allen Hamilton Deloitte

Home Depot and Google pulled out of sponsoring Toronto Pride this year. Since all corporations are woke, I'm sure there is a woke reason for why they're doing this.

I am mentally bouncing around after today so I need a Zen evening but the zine workshop went so well! I am blown away by what everyone produced in such a short time and it was so much fun! Hopefully I'll be able to showcase a few things in some #SAComicsSunday posts.

It is absolutely worth reading all the comments under this too.

um, you couldn’t PAY ME to touch this book or support it. never in a thousand years. wow. ew. ick. 📚💙

Hand cut and stapled a few things for the workshop tomorrow.

UNBOUND AUTHORS: I’m speaking to a solicitor about our fine mess. If you have ANY correspondence with the company (beyond the “Dear Author” letters we all got) in 2024 about nonpayment or about the company’s financial stability, could I see it? I’m opening my DMs for this (don’t make me regret that)

"we need to be prepared for a world where it is impossible to tell real from AI-generated images and video, with implications for a wide swath of society, from the entertainment we enjoy to our trust for online content."

Here are two zines by Claude Naudé - of the zine-creating collective Babel Tower - for #SAComicsSunday. Both were created for this year's Comic Con Cape Town x FanCon Cape Town Comic Con. 1/5 #sacomics
