How does invasive rhodo fare in a healthy rainforest, rather than the usual, severely overgrazed one? It grows far more slowly, and likely doesn't start flowering/producing seed nearly as early in life. Rhodo is really just a symptom of another, core problem: severe ecosystem dysfunction. 🌍

This is why essential services that people need to live or to prevent suffering should be either in public ownership or not for profit. I know someone who invested around £200k as a share of a care home- 5 years later they exited with around £2 million. All those vulnerable people paid for this.
