FRIEND: "We're at risk of slipping into fascism." ME: "Oh, honey . . . when they are arresting judges and mayors, we've already slipped."

Donald has never liked the WORK of being president. He's too lazy for that and lacks the attention and ability to read. Instead, he likes the pomp, flattery and opportunities to use the office to make money. In other words, he is useless to the American people, other than trolling for the MAGA half.

Earlier this year, ProPublica found that the sepsis rate in second-trimester pregnancy loss hospitalizations increased by more than 50% under Texas’ abortion ban. Here’s how we did our analysis. (Published Feb.)

In an absolutely devastating ruling, the Supreme Court has allowed the transgender military ban to go into effect. This is shocking - the ban explicitly called transgender people dishonorable for being transgender. It is as clear as day soaked in animus. www.supremecourt.gov/docket/docke...

Allow me to address the elephant in the room: The decades-long outsourcing of domestic manufacturing to China was not an insidious Chinese conspiracy for dominance but the greedy strategy of the American ruling class to explode its profit margins by exploiting global inequality.

Scanlon: The Gulf of Mexico was so named over 500 years ago. If we want to update that name to reflect our current culture, maybe we should call it the Sea of Emoluments—you know, the place where we can board the Ship of Fools and navigate from a State of Ignorance to the Confederacy of Dunces…

Mark Warner: "That cabinet meeting earlier this week where everyone went around and basically paid kudos to the great leader -- it was something that frankly I would've expected out of North Korea, not out of a cabinet meeting in America."

Some expected. Some surprises. www.newsweek.com/donald-trump...

The Attorney General of the United States gushing on camera that the President has saved two-thirds of the entire population of America from dying of a fentanyl overdose was a gut-churning lurch towards the absurd flattery lavished on personality-cult dictators by fawning subordinates.

Trump showed his true colors. All green. Like the Grinch. He’s fine with stealing Christmas and medicine and housing and education and books and a prosperous future from children. Collective action like the family in Whoville will restore normalcy. www.youtube.com/live/zyZgk2R...

After the election of our lifetime, it is now time to share some lighthearted humour with our southern neighbours 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
