Brexit. 2071 downsides 39 upsides. And Labour is still supporting it. yorkshirebylines.co.uk/regular-feat...

The American people have risen up and they are PISSED AS HELL. #HandsOff

“Starmer under pressure from biggest backers to unpick Brexit after Trump tariffs” www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

In Georgia, students are being expelled from university for protesting for the country’s freedom and European future.

HERO vs ZERO I'm in a state of shock & still trying to process yesterday's shameful, traitorous debacle in the WH: A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY. Our standing in the world has plummeted overnight, but the repercussions will be felt forevermore. #SlavaUkraini🇺🇦 #ShameOnUS🇺🇸

Clubbed, beaten, attacked with dogs… The Geneva Conventions prohibit the targeting of healthcare workers, both civilian & military, yet Israel has tortured, starved & withheld medical treatment from Gaza’s doctors. It’s barbaric. www.theguardian.com/global-devel...

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org

The Prime Minister should show British leadership on Ukraine by inviting President Zelenskyy to address Parliament on Monday. I'm proud that the UK has been Ukraine's staunchest ally from the start. We mustn't falter in the face of Trump's bullying now.

Former Brexit Party MEP and ex-Reform Wales Leader, Nathan Gill has been arrested for taking "Russian-linked bribes" from Oleg Voloshyn. Here’s Nigel Farage with Voloshyn’s wife... #FuckFarage Edited version of @carolecadwalla.bsky.social BBC Article www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It's simple: Russia is not on our side. The US is not on our side. Europe is on our side.

The US has betrayed Europe, Trump’s goal is the neo-Nazification of Germany, which ties in with the Russification of Ukraine. Thread

Everyone knows that Trump is planning on abandoning Ukraine and siding with Putin. None of this is a shock. The rest of the world needs to stop pretending there is any chance of working with Trump. #r4today www.bbc.com/news/article...

Scientists of the world, this is happening on our watch and we need to face it down. Evidence-based medicine weaponised for overtly ideological purposes. We do not need randomised trials of 'vaccine' versus 'no vaccine' when those vaccines have *already* been shown to be safe & effective. #episky 🧪

Across the country, thousands of people in hospital are fit enough to go home, but are stuck awaiting care packages. You can’t fix the NHS without fixing social care. @alisonebennett.bsky.social

JD Vance, vice president of a regime currently overthrowing its own democracy, lectures Europe on the "retreat" from "some of its most fundamental values". He cites the Romanian Constitutional Court annulling its recent presidential election. He doesn't mention this was because Russia interfered.

Tell your boss, Stella. @stellacreasy.bsky.social

"optimism has drained as Starmer appears either committed to this hardest of Brexits or too worried about the next election to risk losing the votes of red wall Brexiters.
But really he has nothing to lose."

The government wants to make Britain “safer, more secure and more prosperous.” => Safer: join Europol & EU cooperation against terrorism Secure: join European security & defence policy Prosperous: join single market & customs union

We didn't vote for Reform lite. We don't want Reform lite. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

1. Here are just a few of the ways in which Starmer’s Labour Party seems determined to alienate its voters and lose the next election. As they pile up, you have to keep pinching yourself and asking, “what the hell is it playing at?” 🧵

If Trump is able to change the constitution and run for a 3rd term, I know someone eligible for a 3rd term as well.

As being “free to make our own trade deals” has delivered the square root of jack shit and, as Brexiters still can’t tell us what EU regulations they want to scrap, closer alignment with the EU should be a no-brainer. Great work @bestforbritain.bsky.social www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

🚨 NEW RESEARCH: This is what the Government's been missing in its plan for growth.A boost to UK GDP of up to 2.2%.How can they get it?With deep alignment with the EU on goods & services. Which would be firmly within Starmer’s Brexit ‘red lines’. 1/6 www.thetimes.com/article/8423...

Plea from the @FT for a more ambitious reset of Britain’s relationship with the EU:

Nigel Farage supported Brexit Nigel Farage supported Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal. Nigel Farage called Liz Truss’s budget the best budget for 40 years. Nigel Farage says the NHS should be privatised. Farage has been wrong about, everything. Don’t let Farage ruin our country any longer.

Like a dog in a park chasing a squirrel, Nigel Farage had no idea what Brexit would be like when he finally got his paws on it. And, eight years after the UK voted to leave the EU, he still has not got a clue. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

No more fun for Britain.

The Brexit leaders promised a bonfire of red tape. They were lying. Their lies are wrecking the country. Vote for pro-EU parties in the local elections.

“I told you if you hold on to clothes long enough they come back in fashion” From the new Private Eye, out now.

What an absolute mugglefucking throbber Nigel Farage backs Donald Trump's Gaza plan - idea of 'casinos' is 'very appealing'

youtu.be/rSl_vmU_-NY?...

Brexit was sold to us on the basis that it would: - be easy (“easiest deal in history”) - save lots of money (that would all go to the NHS) - keep our unfettered access to single market - cut immigration Has anything ever been more mis-sold?

Reeves says the govt is knocking down barriers to growth – but why won’t they touch the biggest one of all? A new 🇬🇧🇪🇺 UK-EU customs union would be the most powerful boost to our economy. Refusing to even consider it isn’t just unambitious – it’s actively holding Britain back.

They really, really need to pin this on Farage. When you think of the 'big beasts' of Brexit bollocks, there's not really anyone else left in the game so it should be quite easy.

Wow 💥 Just 10% of Labour voters say we were right to leave the EU, and just 9% think Brexit has gone well. That means 90% of those who voted for this government in 2024 are OPPOSED to Brexit. (And that's without Labour even mentioning the benefits of EU or Single Market membership for 8+ years!) 🇬🇧🇪🇺

“Progress in lowering barriers to trade with the EU, the UK’s biggest market, would deliver a positive jolt to sentiment” Come on guys. This is painful. It’s our biggest market. There’s no magic formula. And no Brexit benefits. If there were, we’d know about them by now. www.ft.com/content/5452...

If Viktor Orban really blocks European sanctions at a key moment for the war, it’ll be absolutely clear that in this big game for the security and future of Europe, he is playing in Putin’s team, not in ours. With all the consequences of this fact.

Mr. President: Instead of stealing Greenland from Denmark, I have a better idea.   In Denmark, everyone is guaranteed health care, college education is free, parents receive 1-year of paid paternity leave & workers don’t make less than $22 an hour.  Let's steal those ideas.

'How's that on a scale of medieval misogyny?' Ian Hislop tells Andrew Marr that Elon Musk is 'riddled with contradictions'.

A violent criminal? A threat to society? A danger to democracy? No, no and no. This is someone being punished again and again for giving a damn about humanity and the living world. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
