Some days I think that I am surrounded by f’n idiots. Other days I realise… It’s just not some days.

Stumbled upon this video about Sneeze. Unlucky Sneeze.

It was nearly 45 years ago when I saw the film that made Ben Hur look like an Epic, but I had already heard the taunts and the questions about sparrows. I told someone about their mother being a hamster and their father smelling of elderberries, and they were just baffled.

Two years ago today

My condolences to Roman Catholics on the just announced death of Pope Francis, at heart a good man who tried to fix and heal the institutional problems of an organisation abused by some of its participants.

Even if this is perfectly accurate, what we saw Saturday mornings was a coyote busy with dynamite, boomerangs, anvils, rockets, guns, glue, etc. Also I am sure that with all the explosions, falls over cliffs, rocks falling on him and the like, the coyote probably limps, slowing him down!

This weekend was one of an ice storm along a swath of the province. For the trees that survived, it was a rather amazing sight, but many didn’t. Nearing half a million people without power and stretches of many rural roads are impassable.

Just watched Zero Hour - it was the serious movie that served as the basis for Airplane. Because the core of it was copied so faithfully, only to be expanded into the jokes, the producers of Airplane bought it to avoid issues over copyright. Even a number of the voices are similar.
