4 June: Another day following a sleepless night. Arguably one of the best openings to an album.

3 June: Been reporting fake record shop ads! Another Scottish voice that I’m a fan of.

2 June: Memory letting me down again. If I were write a “to do” list, I’d probably forget where I put it. When offered a choice of Blue Smoky vinyl or Forest Green vinyl, it’s a no-brainer for a Tranmere fan.

1 June: Has it really been 34 years since we got promoted to what is now called The Championship? Remixes of early 80s dance music for today’s listening.

31 May: Couple of small jobs done. A return to one of the first albums I got in the late 1970s - purely because one of the original Dutch recordings came up in SongPop.

30 May: Ask a simple question. Get given a response that does not answer it. Not a bad way to announce an arrival to the music scene.

RIP Loretta “Major Margaret ‘Hotlips’ Houlihan” Swit. 🫡

29 May: Had one of those tiredness headaches. A bit of fresh air helped clear the cobwebs. Today’s album with vocals by Paul Carrack.

@colinmurray1.bsky.social How about: RACILY MOURN I’d be surprised if you didn’t get this (5,6)

28 May: Discovered two bruises on my body. Not a clue how they got there. The genius of Jeff Lynne.

27 May: Fairly nondescript day. American pressing for today’s vinyl.

26 May: Thoughts with those affected by the horrific incident at Water Street, especially my friends who were there. Classic Cat Stevens album.

25 May: Stayed awake today. Taking that as a positive. Some more 70s Queen from my shelves.

24 May: Largely spent sleeping off a headache. Classical music on low volume today.

23 May: Sleepless night so spent the day dozing on and off. Some tracks originally from Jim Steinman’s “Bad For Good” album and under different names.

22 May: When a Disney joke gets the groan it deserves. Been put into a “Rock Anthems” mood today.

21 May: Enjoyed being on PopMaster. Delighted to have been selected. The bonus record of 12” mixes included in this release.

🕰️Daily Conundrum 112🕰️ 🔎Clue: If you can’t work this one out, soak your piece of paper! (6,6) ✅ Tues answer(111) Serena Williams 🎾 🤔Fact: I did this conundrum before and didn’t realise! 🤣
🚫 Hints/spoilers=block 📺 Countdown, 2.10pm, Channel 4!

20 May: Good to see a couple of friends today. One of three live albums of Mr Gabriel I have.

RIP Norm. 😢 Cheers star George Wendt dies at 76 www.bbc.com/news/article...

@colinmurray1.bsky.social Have we not had this person before (but with a different clue)?

19 May: Shelving unit I got turned out to be not what I hoped after putting it together. Thankfully it was only a couple of quid. Seeing as “Weird Al” announced a new tour - no UK dates yet, though - thought I’d give him a listen again.

18 May: Another day largely lost to sleep. Chose some symphonic rock to listen to when I had been awake.

17 May: As much as I like watching the Cricket County Championship live streams on YouTube, can’t help but think it doesn’t help getting bums on seats in the grounds. Trying not to think of the presenters of that era…

16 May: To (politely) quote Roy Kent:“Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr”. When the Foo Fighters cover the Bee Gees.

15 May: Nearly ran when I saw a bunch of Morris Dancers. Then I remembered I can’t run. 😩 Thankfully I have some silliness to cancel out the evil.

14 May: Finally managed to get out of the flat. Be interesting to see how the body reacts. George & Co at their peak.

13 May: Nearly ventured out of the flat until a wave of fatigue hit. All time classic album today.

12 May: Exhausted. Groggy. Not much different from usual. Some more 80s cheese to listen to.

11 May: Another afternoon lost to sleep. A “before he went solo” album.

10 May: Forgot how calming Saturdays are when Tranmere are in closed season. The Liverpool version, as opposed to Detroit, for today’s vinyl.

9 May: Seems like I’m stuck in another phase of no sleeping at night. Today’s album is the follow up from a couple of months ago.

8 May: Very tired. One of those weeks it seems. Wonder why they chose pink vinyl for this release? 🤔

7 May: Can hopefully now start to unwind a bit… … After this cheesy LP from the first World Cup I remember.

6 May: Slept through the afternoon. Some 80s Scandi-Pop for today’s vinyl.

5 May: Practically a repeat of yesterday. Bloody CFS An Oscar winning soundtrack.
