Letter to a longtime friend upon being floored to learn of their intent to vote Conservative. I could not live with myself if I didn't write it. It's long, but may be useful to others. For context his main reasons were "woke ideology", housing, affordability, tough on crime. I expanded.

Despite Canada's population growing 10M+, we now have 100K fewer entrepreneurs. SMB entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy. We've seen again and again, people who benefit from a basic income have a greater ability to take risks and build new ventures. I'm one of them.
