“I struggle for adjectives to adequately describe the horror that this administration has visited on the world,” said a former State Department official. “It keeps me up at night.”

He resigned because a report *he requested* found extremely credible evidence that he harassed about a dozen women. He stepped down in disgrace because he would have been impeached. He's corrupt and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near City Hall. Don't rank Cuomo.

New Right 2.0 couldn't have done it without the people who fell for the same lies they've been pitching since New Right 1.0. It's a workers party now. Now that abortion is banned they'll do social policy. It's a free speech party.

The thing to remember about Andrew Cuomo's breakfast order is that he resigned the governorship in disgrace after being credibly accused of sexually harassing at least 11 women with unwanted groping, kissing and sexual comments

That's phallogocentrism, poseur.

This is the energy I bring to my CV revisions.

Hegseth intentionally waited for the start of Pride Month to do this.

A review by THE CITY of court documents involving the most sprawling harassment suit that emerged against former Governor Andrew Cuomo paints a striking picture of how intensely his legal team has come after any woman he sees as part of his downfall.

WH posted this Henry speech? What did he say about the presidency?

When the Justice Dept went to Harvard with claims of discrimination against white men at the Harvard Law Review, it said it had a “cooperating witness” in the journal. The witness, Daniel Wasserman, who graduated from Harvard Law on Wednesday, has a job in the White House under Stephen Miller.

Through May, Baltimore has recorded 54 homicides, the fewest through the first 5 months of a year on record. The previous low: 65 homicides, in 1977. At this point in 2022, just three years ago, there had been 138 killings, and in 2017 there had been 146 people killed.

Andrew Cuomo knows: moving to New York City can be hard. But voting here shouldn’t be. 🏠 Already registered here? Update your address by June 9th 🧳 New or never registered? You must register by June 14th Head to zohranfornyc.com/vote. We’ve got an affordable city to win.

I never feel as much despair as when I see this guy is an opposition leader.

I feel like Reagan should have been the vampire that turned Pinochet's mother, Margaret Thatcher.

Just a reminder: Ramaswamy wanted to de-crim a lot of these drugs for PTSD. My students were really into this. www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/1760065...

I think about this clip when I think Curtis Yarvin: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j3a...

“There are only two kinds of society in which armed agents of the government routinely conceal their identities: (1) Lawless failed states… (2) Authoritarian states… Stable democracies do not allow agents of the state to operate under cover of concealment.” www.thebulwark.com/p/the-secret...

Here's something everybody should be paying attention to: Congressional Republicans are trying to weaken the Affordable Care Act and put millions of people at risk of losing their health care. Call your Senators and tell them we can't let that happen.

Researcher Amita Gupta has spent more than a decade planning and running a $70-million trial to study a new tuberculosis drug, enrolling ~6,000 participants in 13 countries. It might all have been for nothing. That's because a new NIH policy has abruptly cut off billions to trials abroad. 🧪

Yarvin is an absolute moron who is so smooth brained he thinks everything is a conspiracy. When he describes how administrations are staffed he makes it sound like secret knowledge he’s sharing. YES, CURTIS, PRESIDENTS HIRE STAFF!

I’m genuinely interested in Patel’s final vision for FBI and Hegseth’s for military - just a bunch of waxed and jacked young white dudes shooting videos of themselves lifting weights that lovingly pan their bodies.

Math is hard... but Google is free.

🧵 The Atlantic hurricane season begins Jun 1. But that fact didn't dissuade Republicans from abruptly rescinding FEMA's 4-yr strategic objectives. Wired pulled FEMA language from the Wayback Machine, noting the 2022-2026 plan called for "equity" in emergency response. www.wired.com/story/fema-c...

Death Valley is great. It’s not exactly a cozy but crime comedy on cozy side.

Indiana's governor fired all the elected members of Indiana University's Board of Trustees. Given a recent policy change, he'll be able to fill those seats with appointees. Which means he'll basically have unilateral control over IU decisions, including who gets hired, tenured, and fired.

Every wealthy country (and many mid) help citizens mitigate these risks but Americans are the weirdos for want something from state other than boot in the face.

They believe the Dems are unacceptable alternative to enough of their voters.

Summer reading has started! I hate the first book so we’ll just say: Book 1 of summer reading finished!

In 2024, a full-time worker needed to earn $32.11 an hour to afford rent on a modest two-bedroom home in the U.S. Reminder that the federal minimum wage is still $7.25.
