SPRINGSTEEN, on tour in the UK: “.. "In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration." @variety.com variety.com/2025/music/n...

I will never forget that the week Qatar decided to bribe the president of the United States with a plane, CNN decided to focus on the age and health of an ex-president. Shame.

Pete Buttigieg packed a town hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa! Love to see him working with VoteVets!

He’s running.

This is absolutely incredible -- Kristi Noem repeatedly refuses to acknowledge that Trump brandished an doctored image of Abrego Garcia's tattoos, prompting Eric Swalwell to have a staffer of his brandish an image of them right in her face. Totally dystopian.

•••••BREAKING••••• DUE PROCESS is long overdue for Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Rep. Dan Goldman is demanding answers from the ever-defiant, infuriatingly non-compliant Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem. “WHAT STEPS HAVE YOU TAKEN TO RETURN MR. ABREGO GARCIA PURSUANT TO THIS COURT ORDER?” Not…

Priorities.

GOLDMAN: Will you give Abrego Garcia the due process the Supreme Court has required you to give him? NOEM: If he were to come back to this country, he would be immediately removed again G: How do you know? The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he hasn't been treated appropriately

RFK Jr starts having a tantrum as Chris Murphy details how he lied during his confirmation hearing about his anti-vax views

🔥 DAMN! — @benniegthompson to @kristinoem: “I’m glad you found time among your many photo ops and costume changes to testify.”

Dereliction of duty.

I'd just like to spare a thought for the murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi today. Brian Kilmeade thinks America has "moved past" his horrifying assassination. I haven't. And I doubt I'm alone.

1955: Whites-only water fountains 2025: Whites-only immigration.

You fought for habeas corpus, put it in your constitution, and now you’re just gonna let a game show host take it away? You’re not losing your rights. You’re handing them over.

There's always a tweet.

Horsford: They are cutting healthcare for 13.7 million Americans. The largest cut to healthcare in U.S. history to give tax cuts to billionaires and to big corporations. This is your priority.

Accepting a private jumbo-jet from a foreign nation is a clear violation of our Constitution, which plainly prohibits U.S. officials from accepting gifts from foreign governments.

Just FYI because evidently Fox or OAN or whatever is pushing the lie that America accepted the Statue of Liberty and that’s equivalent to the plane. Congress VOTED to approve receiving the statue. So congress should vote on the jet

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Transportation are illegally forcing states to comply with the administration’s immigration policies or give up billions of dollars in funding for disaster relief and transportation.   I’m suing to stop this unlawful overreach.

The man who wanted to ban all Muslims from entering the United States because of terrorism is meeting this week with the former head of Al Qaeda in Syria.

REFUGEE: "We'd like asylum in the United States." ASYLUM HOTLINE: "We're full. Not taking any more." REFUGEE: "We're white." ASYLUM HOTLINE: "How soon can you get here?"

Just hit me that the importing of white folks from South Africa and exporting of brown people is actually, literally an attempt at a great replacement

AOC: The math is not adding up. Their claim is that one million undocumented people are on Medicaid. So why are they trying to cut 13.7 million Americans off their healthcare?

It’s actually insane that there’s an argument happening here over whether the plane grift is “corruption” What are we even doing?

Remember that several people asked Pam Bondi during confirmation SPECIFICALLY what she would do on matters pertaining to Qatar (which she did not disclose) or GEO (pertinent to the Baraka arrest). She said she'd consult top career lawyer at DOJ abt recusal. Then she fired that lawyer.

I'm not a lawyer, nor do I work for the New York Times, but I'm pretty sure corruption does not require an explicit quid pro quo.

Taking a bribe in a very public way doesn't mean you aren't corrupt, it means your corruption is shameless.

If South Africa is a sovereign nation, how are we able to send our own planes we paid for to transport white Afrikaners to the U.S., but simultaneously unable to send a plane to return Abrego Garcia et al?

The fact that the attorney general's last job before this one was lobbying for the Qataris is a little on the nose.

"The President is selling access and influence to the highest bidder. Qatar isn't giving a $400 million jet out of the goodness of their hearts – they expect something in return. That's how transactional relationships work, and nobody understands transactional relationships better than Trump."

We’ve become so desensitized to corruption that the Attorney General who spent years lobbying on behalf of Qatar approved a private jet gift from Qatar and it’s not even in the top 10 scandals of the week.

If I were a member of Congress I would have already introduced a bill prohibiting ICE agents from wearing face masks and requiring them to wear official identification at all times

It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

It's hard to adequately describe how scary it is to watch mainstream political journalists barely push back against a sitting U.S. president accepting a $400M plane from a foreign government that would literally be designated as an emergency command-and-control center during a nuclear war.

$400 million "palace in the sky" private jets for him. No toys for you.

Just curious, what’s the tariff on a $400 million jet from Qatar?

could someone check with John Roberts whether accepting a $400 million plane for your personal use is a core executive power that congress may not constitutionally regulate or merely an action for which the president is presumptively immune from any accountability?

I mean, don’t all libraries have $400 million luxury jets in their collection?

The president has covered the Oval Office in gold, is planning a massive military parade for his birthday, and is now accepting $400,000,000 luxury planes from foreign powers as personal presents. What the fuck are we doing here?

Bribery in plain sight.

Genuinely has anyone *ever* been owned so badly as a man who converts to a new religion as an adult and sorta makes it his whole thing only to see the literal head of that religion rebuke his entire deal and then they choose the NEXT head of the religion specifically because he doesn't like you

Article I, Section 9, Clause 8: “no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

No matter what this Administration tells the American people, the law is very clear: Members of Congress have a legal right to enter any DHS detention facility to conduct oversight without prior notice - something I’ve done twice this year without issue.

Message to ICE. Guess what? You’re the bad guys. You’ve become the American Gestapo. You’re all going to hell.

Tear off the masks when they show up. Take their photos. Get them on video. Expose them. Out them. Name them. They need to be made into pariahs where decent people gather. We cannot allow them to terrorize us. Eyes open. Phones on.

Trump just fired the three Democratic members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The CPSC regulates the safety of everyday consumer products. Guess who recently sued the agency and claimed that it's "unconstitutional"? Amazon. Connect the dots.

Don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give into fear. Never. Ever. 🇺🇸
