Two days left to comment. Takes mere seconds. Saves lives. If you’ve been feeling helpless— this is a thing you can do! It’s been effective in the past. Healthcare is a human right. Disability & health justice is for everyone. Be LOUD. Our enemies are spineless, and we outnumber them.

And here's the thing, talking about this very small thing in the scheme of the world right now seems ridiculous, but what I'm really talking about here is teacher time and how it's taken for granted that we'll just keep doing more with less. There's more work like this than before and less time.

Our credit rating was downgraded.

A student is absent for whatever reason, say sports, or illness and they need to make up some work. They take awhile to make it up, and then complete the work. Their parents want their grade immediately updated and they do too. You have 180 students, so that's not possible. What happens?

Each and every day it becomes more clear that our 20+ year focus on stem at the expense of humanities, history, social science, and social studies has been a colossal mistake. We should reverse course immediately and should be pushing for this on a regular basis. #sschat

Crazy how long this conversation has been going on

Friends, I could use some positivity today. If you have a moment, share something positive with me below, thanks all, best wishes to you good humans!

Guess who’s guest-starring on the next episode of "The Simpsons"? Tune in this Sunday, May 11, at 8pm (7pm CT) on FOX — or stream it Monday on Hulu. (Look for the episode called “Full Heart, Empty Pool.”)

"I thought that I could change the world." This conversation with @heymrsbond.com was a gift, plain and simple—and I'm so excited to share it out this week of all weeks. #AppreciateTeachers A conversation about what it means to be a teacher: thebrokencopier.substack.com/p/being-a-te...

There is a possibility we will be facing massive shortages.

Welcome to tonight’s for #engsschat. Share a picture or a gif to capture your feelings on the end of the year. #sschat #engchat #edchat

Love this question. Anyone have an answer? For me. The better I know my students and the better they know me, the safer it is for them. #engsschat #sschat

A2. I think it helps to keep a focus on completing assignments on time early on. This way, they are prepared. Also, give them choices, in the last few weeks. #engsschat

Kudos to the United Club lounge at San Francisco International Airport. Light/moderate crowd, but still well ventilated for how busy it is. Appreciate the effort!

It took almost 5 years, surviving a coma, & becoming a dad, but the Mr passed his oral exams and finished his MPA (his 3rd & final grad degree) today. Give a big shoutout to him for persevering and for having an unfortunately timed thesis on government efficiency!
