In honor of May the 4th, here's an article from a fan magazine released in 1983 that tried to guess the plot of "Revenge of the Jedi". Yoda's brother Adoy, who has wings and is bright purple, helps Luke rescue carbonite-frozen Han on a planet with hundreds of other frozen people. imgur.com/a/xiQtXcJ

Back in late 1986 I finished Ultima IV by @richardgarriott.bsky.social This wasn't like any other game I had ever played, and 16 year-old me was changed by playing it. It made me mindful of Truth, Love, and Courage. The day I finished I put the included Ankh on my keychain, where it's been since.

Who says cats don't like their belly scratched? Miss Rigatoni loves it. She especially loves her "pits" scratched. #caturday

I'm re-watching 2008's Terminator: The Sara Connor Chronicles (a fun watch) and who should show up in a historical mystery episode as a 1920's Terminator but that magnificent bastard @realtoddstashwick.bsky.social . Such a clever episode, and something you don't get in modern "short season" shows.

American Bystander #29 is out! Back in the early 80's when others were sneaking Playboy, I was sneaking National Lampoon. American Bystander is its spiritual successor and it's what is going to get me through the next 4 years. Thank you @michaelgerber.bsky.social www.americanbystander.org

This is Ragu young and old. We found her hanging out at a McDonalds. She was tiny, sickly and bitey. We spent months trying to make friends with her and it worked. She turned into the most loving cat, who often licked my beard. She was my buddy. She passed from cancer at age 11 4 years ago #caturday
