Axios is wrong— he did not dodge the question, he answered it directly by saying he thinks Israel has a right to exist as a state with equal rights for all. If you think that's incompatible with it being a Jewish state then that's your problem.

Whoa. A massive blow to the reconciliation bill’s most egregious anti-LGBTQ, which would have outlawed Medicaid coverage for gender-affirming health care in all 50 states, cutting off access for countless trans people. A really big victory here for Senate Dems who challenged this provision.
