Budapest's streets overflowed with Pride marchers on Saturday, despite the Orban regime's threats of legal consequences. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

It’s every parent’s nightmare, isn’t it? you check your child’s bulletproof backpack and find a picture book about gay penguins

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it. - Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders. - Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

"The State Department has one estimate that the cost of shutting down USAID was $6 billion. So instead of saving money, they've spent $6 billion killing a lot of kids." @nickkristof.bsky.social joins @timmiller.bsky.social to discuss the gratuitous cruelty of cutting USAID:

Mark and Melissa lie peacefully at the center of our state and our hearts today. Their memorial, guarded by service dogs and men and women in uniform, casts a momentary shadow over L'Étoile du Nord as we honor their life’s work to make Minnesota shine brighter for all.

This should be illegal

Send over those Vatican Guards!

Perfection.

Stephen Miller says “unchecked migration” got Mamdani the win. Adds that migration has ruined a once-great NYC, which is an interesting read on NYC’s history.

Without the rule of law, babies are put at risk by attacks on birthright citizenship, people who look like me wouldn’t even be able to hold office, there would be no government services to take care of American citizens. That’s what’s at stake with this President and this White House.

NOT A SINGLE DEMOCRATIC SENATOR should confirm Emil Bove for the 3d Circuit Court of Appeals.

NEWS: Kenneth Chesebro, "architect" of the 2020 fake electors plot who pleaded to criminal charges in Georgia, has been disbarred from the practice of law in New York, per order issued today by New York appellate court.

Crockett: The First Lady, a model— when I say model I’m not talking about Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, or Naomi Campbell level— applied for an Einstein visa. You’re supposed to have some sort of significant achievement… She had none of those. It doesn’t take an Einstein to see the math ain’t mathin

Good god

Sen. BOOKER: The White House nominated Mr. Bove over our strong objections. We’d submitted a professional conduct complaint against Mr. Bove with the New York State Bar. There’s no scenario in which the White House counsel could believe this nomination would be acceptable.

Socialism is what they called public power. Socialism is what they called social security.    Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.   Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people. —Harry Truman, 1952

Kari Lake is a liar. Rep. Stanton just demolished her over it

Unfuckingbelievable

This is bad

Judges shouldn’t fear for their lives just for doing their jobs.

There comes a point where you got to stand up for what’s right. Campaign merch now available. #ForThePeople

Here's where ICE is sleeping tonight

Today marks the third anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. What's happened since? A record number of women have been prosecuted. Pregnancy loss is now considered extremely suspicious, even when it has nothing to do with abortion.

Ball sacked

The Bove allegations should be treated as something akin to Watergate, or Iran Contra. The administration was attempting to do something they *knew* was illegal (anticipating the courts saying as much), and then trying to COVER IT UP. Only here instead of it being run out of the WH or NSC, it’s DOJ

The United States never has enough money to keep people alive at home but always has enough money to kill people overseas.

Yesterday would have been the best time to flee

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Uh, why doesn’t ICE pursue the big, bad cartel that is ‘flooding our streets with drugs’ while they are in LA instead of the guy at Hone Depot? Are they are scared to pursue real criminals - or is it convenient to let the criminals commit crimes they can campaign against in elections?

This is stupid - but why not give them to people who need transportation? At least I’d be happy they will help someone rather than go the private org that will take over the postal service (that’s where this is headed) for ridiculously low prices.

WTF

Incredible stuff www.politico.com/news/2025/06...

JUNETEENTH in Harlem. This is what America is about. Perhaps the most American holiday of all, Juneteenth honors the very best of what this country can be. It’s a celebration of the courage to fight for freedom, even when the cost is steep. It’s sad that the president gets angry over this
