Johnathan Joss died a hero. He was murdered for being gay, he went out protecting his trans husband from being executed. They burned down their home and killed their pets and then they murdered Joss while trying to murder his husband. The New York times can barely muster "fatally shot." I hate this.

As a celiac I will not eat at a restaurant unless they have at least five non-salad options. My disease already limits me enough, I'm already odd man out. I'll never forget going out with friends who picked a place and they ate biscuits while I watched. Nope. Absolutely not.

I have violent reactions to ingesting gluten, so eating out on vacation is always a little scary. If something tastes too good I will double check with my server, and I always tip a minimum of 30% because I know I'm a PITA. I'm thinking about the gluten-free pancakes I had on vacation.

We are home! We went on a mother daughter trip and The Teen drove the entire time. No one cried or screamed! We had a blast! We walked a ton and I assure lots of gluten-free things while dining al fresco!

I went into my kid's room to deliver her laundry and saw some sort of certificate on her desk. Apparently, she is ranked in the top ten percent of all juniors in our state. She forgot to mention it because it was NBD to her. This kid is wild. My grades were never that good.
