I found this wartime pic of the original Lassie. Fun fact: Lassie, the beloved female collie, was played by a male dog, Pal. For decades, audiences adored Lassie without questioning if their heroic dog was female. Turns out, good boys can play good girls, and it doesn’t really matter. Eff Trump 🐕
