Dissolve NATO. Reconstitute an EU + 2 (UK & Canada) military alliance. Close all US military bases on foreign soil including Comms and listening stations. 5 Eyes becomes 4 Eyes (doh !). Just the threat and going through the motions will get unbelievably quick results.

Those backup singer ladies were appalled when Isaac Hayes said Shaft was a bad mother, but I would believe it. I don't think he even talks to his children once in the movie, even before his big confrontation with the evil mafiosi. It's not even clear if he IS a mother.

Canada out negotiated Trump, likely in coordination with Mexico. Canada will now place 10,000 personnel (which they were already doing) at the border. They reinforced the border to protect from the US against a potential invasion and will now curb US drug and weapons traffickers. The US got nothing.
