It’s been a minute BlueSky. Excited for the draft. My advice is to not freak out if Eagles pick a guy projected in 40s. Multiple reports are out that the guys in the 25-45 range are in the eye of the beholder so don’t get caught in a ‘reach’ label in this draft

Eagles have top 30 visits with 3 OL. Becton, Connerly and Mbow

Love the Ojulari signing. I can't imagine Huff will be on the team opening day

I'm hoping we pick up one new player who doesn't project to play in preseason game #3.  Is that too high a bar?

I don’t mean this to be overly negative more of a statement of fact but pretty much every pickup of the Eagles played badly last year except Dillon who didn’t play at all

The Eagles hired Parks Frazier and Montgomery VanGorder. They’re really raiding the country clubs for this year’s offensive staff

You can view Uche as Howie doubling down on a mistake (Huff) or taking another swing depending if you’re a glass half full or empty person

Uche is pretty much a flier move. He hasn’t been good. Had one good year. If camp body then fine but it’s a nothing move

Had time to think on AJ Dillon. The fit is there as a power short yardage guy, pass protector and guy who can catch a pass and help wear down the defense. A more powerful less shifty Gainwell. But he also might not make the team because of injury & general fall off

Eagles signed AJ Dillon. Meh.

I am being patient Howie just like you asked

Money is still crazy. Howie smart to sit out. Guys like Allen & Landry got cut because of contract and then got bigger contracts in other places. Why wouldn't those teams trade a 7 to get them on current deal?

Disappointed Howie didn't get Myles Garrett back from the Browns for Pickett

Howie waiting for the exact right moment

Welcome to NFL free agency. Twitter's loss is Bluesky's gain. Maybe the NFL will end up wishing it had allowed its teams to open accounts here.

The good part of the bad place breaking is it forced me to hunt for more news sources here. I was only checking it to see breaking nfl news and felt dirty every time I did

Guard for Tampa just got 3-22. That doesn't feel like the huge guard money they were predicting. Wonder if that brings Becton back in play

Ha, ha, ha while Williams, Sweat etc are announced elsewhere. Barkley is worth celebrating twice

Eagles already have a great team even without the pending free agent losses. Today Eagles will play the comp pick game but Howie will add players at the few areas that are less than strong at some point.

Wow what an hour of NFL activity

I think rebuilding is too generous for this team. That insinuates they had something built at one point.

Nick Bolton got 15 mil. Nice player but Baun is better at 17. Howie read market correctly

Myles Garrett - "Losing every year sucks. All I want to do is win. I'm sitting out until I'm traded." Andrew Berry - "Here's 40mil/yr with 123 million guaranteed." Myles Garrett - "Where do I sign?"

Myles Garrett signs back with CLE for god money. We can put that discussion to bed

Do you think Eagles re-sign any of their players before Monday? Who?

Smart list

Joey Bosa released. Remember when he got into it with fans?

I think Howie will bring in a least one substantial new player before next season but that might not happen until a training camp trade.

The one bad thing about the free agency news is that I keep getting linked back to the bad place when friends text me things.

My guess is Howie is seeing player pay inequities and sees that the RB and LB impact pay per contribution is better priced than DL right now. I expect a lot of young DL to balance cap

Baun was a must sign. Near irreplaceable on this team. Everyone else has backup options

Dre’Mont Jones was released by Seattle. Drafted by Fangio, played for Hurtt. Would make sense at a reasonable number

Darius Slay released

Deebo to the Commanders for a 5th rd pick

I could see Howie trading for Kyle Pitts. He’s underperforming in Atl but it’s Atl

Garrett pipe dream aside, I still don’t see Howie going into the season with Smith, Hunt, Huff and a rookie. I’d be shocked if that happens

Seemed like it was heading towards a college guy

The Dolphins rated #1 and these are the same players who thought Fangio was too hard on them so pardon me if I'm not overly concerned.
