The 1966 musical mentioned here was called IT'S A BIRD...IT'S A PLANE...IT'S SUPERMAN...and was subsequently adapted into a television special in 1975. The show featured Lesley Ann Warren as Lois Lane, which if you've never seen, hot dog do I have a Pride month recommendation for you.

It's the birthday of the late, great master of Italian horror, Lucio Fulci. What a damn sensation of a filmmaker...deeply influential, steeped in style, but also unafraid to be unapologetically bananas. Definitely a "more is more with a side of gore" kind of guy. One of my absolute faves. Obvi.
