Once again tapping the sign, not everyone can afford to donate. If you're disabled and broke like me it can be a lot to constantly be inundated with fundraising posts and told that you're not a real ally if you don't have extra money to give to people. It's ok to put on your own oxygen mask first.

How I got my GRC. Being born in Canada and having lived just outside Toronto until the age of seven, I had to send off my birth certificate to the Provincial authorities in Ontario. Luckily, they brought in a GRA before the UK did and it was fairly straighforward.

My story. I transitioned in 2001 and luckily had the money to go private after winning a court case against a former employer. I did approach the NHS at the time and was told there was a TWENTY year wait for surgery. Hence the decision to go private at a clinic in Manchester.
