CSS if() function landed today(!!!) in Chrome 137 🥳 along with another rad feature: reading-flow 🥳 So I put together a quick video showcasing both: youtu.be/Apn8ucs7AL0

Working on the #Drupal Event Platform has been challenging at times but it has given me the opportunity to explore some big ideas and develop new skills. I'm glad to see growing excitement for how it's taking shape

I'll be there!

How's your day going?

Custom Properties compute before they inherit ... and by registering a custom property with a certain syntax, CSS knows what to compute it to ... which allows this:

wooahh Figma's new Sites thing produces no semantic HTML at all. Every single element is a div. Incredibly inaccessible Example: plugin-value-scrum.figma.site

#CSS Is it possible for CQW units to be based off of a named container? I have 2 ancestor query containers (set to `container-type: inline`) The top level container has `container-name: top` I want a deeply nested element's CQW units to be based on the `container-name: top` container. Possible?

When developing websites for RTL languages like #hebrew and #arabic, should I flip right-facing (forward facing) arrows, and play buttons? #webdev

There’s a great lesson in here about fixing #drupal bugs by “bugging the 💩” out of people. herchel.com/articles/dru... Blog post by (who else?!) @mike.herchel.com 😀

#Git is 20 years old. Happy Birthday!

My life would be a lot easier right now if Firefox supported styles queries (for custom properties)... @firefoxdevtools.bsky.social @firefox.com 🙏😄

Ah, @fldrupal.camp we miss you already!! Beans were traded and friends were made. #Drupal is much more than the code.

@davatron5000.bsky.social 👋 Hey, is spicy sections still a recommended go-to for tabs/accordion? Or is there something else that you know of that's better / more accessible?

Just because you spent yrs in [fill in the blank] platform / tech doesn't mean you are saying it sucks or "betraying it" by exploring rivals, competitors, or diff tech entirely. Tactfully expanding your knowledge is a must for those in #webdev. Gives you more options AND makes you a better dev.

I’ve been lucky enough to attend a lot of different #drupal events, and my opinion of @fldrupal.camp has not changed - it is the BEST drupal event anywhere. The 17th consecutive event just ended with DrupalCon-level speakers as well as networking events that are (by far!) second-to-none.

I have also started a new website authoringexperience.com which has information about the book, links to buy it, as well as a blog since people seem to be into doing that again.

the world is on fire, but also maybe I can help you figure out if you're getting grifted or not ericwbailey.website/published/ev...

I'm excited to be participating in @fldrupal.camp later this month. Lots of great sessions! I'll be leading "Back(drop) to the Future" to outline some reasons that make Backdrop a great choice for certain types of projects. More info here: www.fldrupal.camp/session/back... #BackdropCMS #Drupal
