The reality right now is that city's beg and scrape to get businesses to come to their cities. They offer tax breaks, land, anything. But what if cities started building up their own industries instead? What if the option was go set up shop in your town or face a competitor with no profit motive?

💯👏👏

I doubt we can legislate away pay day loans on the municipal level, but what if there was a 0% interest alternative?

If elected for city commission one of the priorities will be shoring up our local businesses. There is a business model that is more resilient during time's of economic insecurity. Offering resources to make that transition will be major component to building up Lawrence's local economy.

Honestly, investigated. This is someone that is undoubtedly encouraging their constituents to go out and murder people.

I do not plan to bow or scrape to a hate group/terrorist organization.

Whelp, every image I upload is turning into just one big splotch of darkness. I've requested help from bluesky on this so it'll hopefully get addressed.

If elected I hope to implement Just Cause policy. Force employers to have to give a reason for your termination instead of just being able to let you go for any old reason.
