Nearly a year, several trips across the ocean, a whole lot of $, bonkers bureaucracy, delays, headaches, stress and flat out incompetence like you wouldn't imagine to sort out a 3" stack of forms. Now I can BEGIN to apply for citizenship. 🧀⌚🏔️ I expect similar chaos for the next year or so. Worth it.

Since beginning my citizenship journey I've been astonished by how much time, focus, physical effort, money, and just sheer frustration has been involved. It's crystal clear to me that an abundance of resources, time being key, helps to grease this track. I can't imagine how most people manage.

Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines. When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.
