When I speak with other clinicians I'm reminded why I can't be the diplomatic or apologetic trans in the room. Partially I don't have the temperament. But also, anti-queer bias (overt & internalized) is strong enough without me yielding my space to it. Be unapologetically you. That’s the protest.
