From a more practical perspective or a realist one, the Canadian military is highly skilled/competent. All their general officers/flag officers (GO/FOs) go through our senior leader colleges & a large number have held GO assignments in I, III, V, or XVIII ABN Corps, & at all combatant commands. 1/

And the supposed Democrats like Lawrence O'Donnell peddle nonsense about how it takes court action and tons of hearings to fire the NY Mayor. The plain text of the removal paragraph in the city charter is clear and obvious: one set of charges, one hearing, 30 day suspension. Still mad about that.
